Meet Our Team

George H. Livermore, III, MD was born in New York State and grew up outside New York City during the 1960’s.  He withdrew from high school and obtained his high school equivalency while working as an auto mechanic.  Later, he attended SUNY College at Purchase. In 1981, he graduated from SUNY with a double major in biology and chemistry. Dr Livermore  went on to attend medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences located in Bethesda, Maryland.  After graduating from USUHS in 1985, he completed his residency in otolaryngology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1992. Dr Livermore completed active duty in 1997. He has had a storied career and practiced in several states before settling in Georgia. Most of his career has been spent in underserved communities.  In retrospect, he feels blessed to become a surgeon after his humble beginnings as a wayward youth.  He prides himself on giving back to the citizens of this great country. Dr Livermore was a beloved member of the south Atlanta community where he practiced for 8 years before taking a position in South Georgia. We are thrilled to welcome him back to Newnan where his family resides.

Dr Livermore enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their family. He loves to work on cars, tinker with wood working and repairs around their home. He and his wife love the outdoors, the occasional hike and spending time with their family and pets. Dr Livermore is excited to be back practicing in his home community.
